cry no more.

I'm your eyes when sight has gone.

Daintydoll.org is my third domain following Sakuchi.org and acts as a personal collective. A few things may also overlap with my main collective, Snow-Heart.net. Daintydoll.org was registered on November 26th, 2008 and finally launched on June 8th, 2011. It shares the space under Dreamhost along with my other domains.

While Daintydoll may scream my feminineness, its origin is personal. Doll came from being my mom's own breathing "barbie doll" - in the sense that I'm doted on by her. I'll always be her baby girl. Dainty, apart from sounding pleasant, comes from being the eldest and only girl of three children. While I didn't exactly planned buying another domain, I have entertained the notion of owning one that's more feminine (it's just me) and well, personal. I suppose the most significant reason that prompted me to attain this small place is my reconciliation with my mom in late 2008 (yes, just a little earlier than the registration date), overcoming (then) the darkest hours of my life in the past years that haunted me (re: family issues since late 2006).

My mom will always love and support me no matter what. She's my hero: strong and beautiful inside and out; I aspire to be just as strong as I continue to experience life's offers. I love her with all my heart and I can't thank her enough for her never-ending patience (most of the time anyway) and for continuously allowing me to pursue this small hobby (she pays for everything) of mine despite it not yielding any benefits financially or academically. (laughs)

Network name, Lapis Lazuli, is taken from the gemstone of the same name. Lapis Lazulis is the stone of "awareness." It brings "mental clarity, emotional healing and can help overcome depression." I think it suits Daintydoll perfectly.

Daintydoll.org falls under the "umbrella" network name, Snowlike♔Tears Network, along with Snow-Heart.net, Sakuchi.org and Kinmotsu.org. Fuyumeku.net's birth was unexpected so it's not included but still a special part of the network. While this domain is targeted for more personal use, you may find in the future, tributes hosted under here (hint: ladies!). :3

Wind beneath my wings is version one of Daintydoll.org which features an artwork from 100 Masters of Bishoujo Painting artbook found at kisuki. Icons are from dry-icons while textures and brushes are from anamcr, butterphil and some more. Header titles are from Miho Fukuhara's Cry No More. Site is powered by fancybox and fontsquirrel.

look within your heart

a love for all the world to see.

I'm Shinju, 19 y/o college student crawling my way into Nursing (or at least trying to finish the prerequisites asap) which is a stark contrast to my passion: writing (but ~le sigh~ even at that, I'm not very proficient at it /sobs). When there is no projects to work on and I have quite a lot of free time at hand, it is mostly spent perusing the Naruto fanfiction archive yonder FanFiction.Net. (laughs) I don't really know what to put here (perhaps I'll have more input when I make that long-due personal site, lololol) but if you feel the need to contact me, you may do so here. You can also find me at other social/media sites listed at my flavors account. :3
